I realize I've not written in a while, despite some requests from loyal readers. But I'm sitting here waiting for a back-up to run, and just have some random thoughts....

- Will Keith Olbermann dedicate 20 minutes of his show tonight to the new apology from Levi Johnson, and admission he lied about Sarah Palin....just like he did when the lies were published?

- Why are recess appointments evil when Bush does them, but okay when Obama does them?

- Fast approaching 80 days of the oil leak, and we just now accepted international support, we have blocked Jefferson Parish from building barracades....the barges are just sitting there in active....good thing he's been there since day 1

- Why isn't Pelosi calling out the Panther's for their threatening speech?

- Day one of the Obama administration he closed Qitmo....yet it still houses over 100 prisoners

- Obama was going to end the Afghan war...but he's sending new troops?

- Remember when the Dems hated General Petraus?

I know why Obama is hated by conservatives...we've disliked him all along...but those that should be even angrier are the liberals that voted him in. He's done nothing he promised you he would do, he lied over and over again, and yet you don't care? Amazing

A Really Inconvenient Truth....or lie

So as the media keeps pulling at the "Global Warming" string...things are starting to come un-done...

...we already know about the UK scientists emails that show they threw out an entire decade of data because it didn't fit the end result they wanted...and then used a "trick" to smooth the gap over.

...We're now hearing that NASA may have also ditched a ton of data on global temperatures and sea levels.

...and finally, the UN will not share the costs related to "greening" the UN headquarters, and also wont share the energy savings results from those costs.

And to all my followers that are Obama supporters....how's that hope/change check list??

- More troops in Iraq
- More troops going to Afghanistan
- Gitmo now wont be closed in a year
- Unemployement topped 10% despite stimulus bill...and really is 17% if your honest
- No healthcare bill this year as promised

So far, all I can see he's done is apologize to the entire world, bow to every world leader, take his wife to dinner at a cost of $1m to us......and pick a dog.....but that took 6 months too.

Dave Checketts of the St. Louis Blues announced today that he was dropping Rush Limbaugh from the proposed ownership group, seeking to purchase the St. Louis Rams.

How expected that they would cave to the pressure from the left wing liberals, and be too afraid to make a business decision, based on it's merits alone.

How typical that they wouldn't have the balls to say, "this is our team, and we stand by our partners"

How typical for a St. Louis group, to run from their friends and associates when things got tough.

From everything I've seen of those I've met from St. Louis, turning on your associates, and throwing them under the bus, seems pretty normal.

This is why they showed no loyalty to Kurt Warner, and why he's winning titles for another city, while St. Louis heads towards a number one draft pick next season.

To Dave Checketts, and all those other spineless wonders I've met from St. Louis....I really wish I could say I was surprised. Guess it was too hard being loyal, and backing up your promises.

I haven't made any comments recently about our Savior President and the Holier-than-thou Dem congress...but here are some recent thoughts....

The State of Georgia floods......Obama hasn't been there yet. Where is FEMA, where is the Fed? Why aren't the same people screaming now that were screaming during Katrina? Biden shows up for one day....shows his ass using the word "y'all", and that's it.

Yet another Czar proves to be a jackass. On the heals of Van Jones, we now learn that Obama's Safe Schools Czar once had a 15 year old confide in him that he was having gay sex with a much older adult. The Czar's response? Use a condom.

OBAMA LIED - During his wasted address to congress, he promised full disclosure regarding any health care bill. However, the amendment to allow the bill to be posted for 72 hours before a vote has been shot down....it will be passed, using dirty tricks, before any of us know what it's all about.

BO and MO go to Cophenhagen, using TWO planes.....and still don't get the Olympics...how much money did that waste.

Obama spent 3 hours drinking a beer with his Harvard Professor buddy.....but spent less than a half hour talking to the Cmdr of US troops in Afghanistan...before he had to jet off to meet his wife and Oprah in Copenhagen.

During the Bush admin, he was critized for taking too much vacation time. In less than 9 months in office, Obama has been to Martha's Vineyard, Paris, and New York. On our dime.

How come when Obama went to Martha's Vineyard, and asked the media to respect his private time, they did. But 100s, along with Cindy Shaheen, camped out side of Bush's Texas home, and never gave him a moments peach

Why did the liberals scream that Bush needed to "listen to the military commanders"...but Obama can put them off for weeks, and that's ok.

Why did the liberals berate Bush on no exit strategy for Irag...but Obama can admit he has no plan for Afghanistan..and that's ok.

Under Reagan, when unemployment was at 9%, teenage unemployment was at 40%, and minority unemployment was at 35%...there was "no good news"....but when those numbers are at 10%, 51%, and 40%......"there's signs of hope"

When Bush said "Mission Accomlished" and it wasn't...you could hear the screams from the left. But Obama says "recession is over"...and it's not....the silence is deafening.

The state of CA is nearly bankrupt. They have high corp tax, free medical care, medical care for illegals, tons of environmental law, salary mandates...all plans the liberals want to implement nationwide......because they wored so good in CA?!?!?!?!

And...in CA....in attempt to recover...they are going to cut business and personal taxes, cut back on social programs, and put a cap on spending....hmmmm....isnt' that what Republicans want for all of us?

The reality is, and liberals can't deny it......all of his promises in the campaign were lies...and the policies he has rolled out have failed.

The SROBAK 25th Miami Vice Convention

As many of my fellow Miami Vice fans will recall, back in 2000, Srobak promsied us a 25th Convention that would have "thousands" in attendance, and involve the full media, and vendor participation.

Well, I'm proud to say, the event was EXACTLY what you would have expected from Mr. Robak. Below are the pictures for this magnificent event....

Parking was at a premium outside, most spots were taken by the vendors brought in for the event....

While the lines were long at the check-in desk, we all knew it would be well worth the wait...

Here you can see the wide variety of boating vendors who brought their boats for display. Most said they new Srobak personally, and were glad to participate at this level...

One of the big highlights was the celebrity speakers brought in, shown here, the audience is in awe of the behind-the-scenes stories being told...

And the grand finally night, the dinner/dance, with an 80s theme, was just magical....

All in all, this was just what we've come to expect from a Srobak sponsored event, being a true man of his word, he delivered exactly what we all expected. I am all a twitter with anticipation to see what magic Shawn can pull off in 2014 for the 30th!!!

Harvard Professor Arrested

So a man is seen lurking around a home, and the neighbors call the police. The police arrive, and the man states he is the home owner, but has no ID. The police question him further, and he begins to play the race card. After gaining access to the home, and verifying his ID, the police APOLOGIZE, and begin to leave. The man continues yelling racial accusations at the police officer, and follows the officer down the walk to the driveway, all the while yelling and screaming. The officer warns that man that he is now becoming a nuisance and is disturbing the peace, and needs to calm down. The man becomes more excited, louder, and refuses to back off, and he's arrested.

Where is the racism?

Police were called to check a possible burglar, and despite what the general public thinks, police can't read minds, and can't just "take your word" for it. So they checked him out....DID THEIR JOB.

Then when they finished DOING THEIR JOB...the homeowner begins making racial comments to the white officer, even as they are leaving.

Why wasn't the man thankful the police were being diligent in checking the safety of his home?

The true racist here is the Prof. He has attacked an officer's performance based soley on race, pre-judging that a white officer would ONLY be diligent if he was checking a black suspect.

Just a quick running tally:

- Said he would close Gitmo....not done, and no plan on where to move prisoners.
- Said he would draw down in Iraq...but just added 15,000 more troops
- Said he would not tax anyone making less than $250k, but wants to tax your healthcare benefits, regardless of income. And by the way, when McCain proposed the EXACT SAME THING during the campaign...Obama jumped all over it.
- Said he would not "ignore the rule of law" like Bush, but at his last two bill signings, said he would not be bound by the rules set by congress for using US funds
- Has appointed more "czars" than the previous two administrations combined
- Said if we didn't get the omnibus spending passed, unemployment would hit 8%..well he got it, and it's now approaching 10%
- Despite the fact that he's only dispenses about 10% of the stimulus money, the economy is better now than a year ago, seems to be doing fine without his help.
- Wants to force through a plan that would spend trillions of dollars, but critized Bush for pushing through the TARP money on two months notice.

Get ready people, you're insurance is going away, and here's why.

Currently, the average company that provides insurance benefits to it's employees pays 13-17% of their payroll payments. Under the new plan, if you're employer doesn't offer you insurance, they would have to pay an 8% payroll penalty to the government. So, if they cancel your coverage, they can save 5-9% of overall costs. You would then be FORCED to join the National Health Insurance system, and you'd have no other option.

No-bama came out today and said "paying for what you spend just makes good sense"...........where the hell was all that common sense when he was rolling up over $1 Trillion in national debt? Where was that when he forced banks to take TARP money they didn't want? Where was that when he was appointing his 40th freakin' "Czar"?

I challenge one of you mindless Dems that blindly voted for this yahoo to explain this to me! You can't.....but I CAN. "pay as you go" means I'm gonna tax the be-jesus out of those of you that have money, so I can keep giving away your shit to those people and companies that don't deserve it.

Oh, and by the way...."saved or create 3.5m jobs"....what the hell does that mean? How can you prove you "saved" a job?

Based on the bullshit formula Biden's economic guy created, Pres. Bush "saved or created" some 32 million jobs in 8 years...the best record in US history.

This is the beginning of a very dark period for our country, and especially for those of us who have worked, earned, and "paid as we go" all along.

This President intends to take my money, and give it to those who have done nothing but fail, under work, over spend, and then hold out there hands while asking the govt to blame someone else.

By now you've all heard that California is on the brink of bankruptcy. And the fake-Republican Gov. Terminator Boy, now says the State must cut Billions or face extinction.

Why is this important to those who don't live in CA? Well, here's the thing....California is the most Socialist state in the country. The fully embrace the liberal agenda of entitlement for those who don't deserve it. Free educations for illegal aliens. Cash payments to homeless in San Francisco. Free needles to drug addicts...and on and on and on. In CA, an illegal alien receives more benefits that a born US citizen who becomes unemployed.

So here it is in a microcosim. The Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Franks liberal experiment, fully at work for years in CA....and it's a total failure. So once this new "enlightned" way of governing spreads to the rest of our country...the clock will be ticking on the entire US then...and it wont take long.

More Obama "flip flops" too chew on too:

- The USA must seek alternatives like wind and solar, but not nuclear. However, he understands why Iran (an oil rich nation) wants to develop nuclear as a power source.

- The USA must give up making large polluting vehicles like the Hummer line, but it's okay to sell it to the Chinese, the most polluting industrial nation on Earth.

- It's ok for his supreme court nominee to say she is more qualified based only on race and gender, but if a white male says the same thing...he's a racist.

So I took my BF Sam to one of the all time great Memphis watering holes...Alex's Tavern. And we were sitting at the bar, having a cold one, and talking about some of the pictures and stuff hanging on the walls. And on one side there was a picture, but it was blocked by three status. I said "you know who the statues are?", to which Sam immediatly replied "yeah, the 3 stooges"....which of course they weren't. I said take another look, and guess again...she said "oh, the two on the sides are those guys.....Hardy....and....Lewis!" Ahhhh....no. So she wouldn't have to guess anymore, I told her the two on the sides were Laurel and Hardy...and the statue in the middle was W.C. Fields. To which she replied "oh, I thought he was black?"......I must have had a confused look on my face, and she explained she had seen a statue of him in his park on Beale Street, and he looked black. Realizing what she was sayin, and just smiled and said..."hun, that's WC Handy, this is WC Fields, and yes, WC Handy was black....but WC Fields wasn't the father of the blues"

Sam then told me I was to f'ing old, and this was all before her time.

Various Catching Up To Do...

I haven't posted in a while, so while I'm HOME SICK ON MEMORIAL DAY, I thought I'd do some catching up.

First, BBQ Fest 2009 is in the books. It was one of the best years I've had in the 10 + years I've been doing this with Pure Pleasure Porkers. Despite the bad park conditions and threats of bad weather, we lucked out on our booth, had a great spot, and the flooring kept everyone high and dry. We went through some 30 cases of beer, and 1 and 1/2 kegs, and an untallied number of liquor bottles. We also found a new Yucca jug that I think will be with us for years to come. And we finsihed 28th our of 111. However, once again, we took it in the shorts in the blind judging.

I'm really beginning to wonder if this Prez just sits in the White House thinking of stupid shat to pull off.

The lastest debacle not only demonstrates his lack of sensitivity to this country and it's citizens, but a bone-head decision financially.

At some point, someone in the White House decided that it was a good idea to fly Air Force One very, very, very low over MANHATTAN...escorted by 2 F-16s....AND NOT TELL ANYONE!!!! So someone really thought it was a good idea, to do a fly-by on the city that was struck by two jets 8 years ago. And not even let the mayor know. I'm just picturing BHO sitting thinking out loud "this'll freak 'em out!"

And let's not forget about the HUGE waste of money. I read somewhere that it costs about $4k per hour to fly a 747. Let's be reasonable, and estimate half that. For the 3 hours this plane flew, $12k....plus the cost of two F-16s....another conservative $24k.....a grand total of $36k!!!

The purpose??? It's a series of fly overs so they can have a photo op of Air Force One flying by several national monuments. This time the Statue of Liberty. Let's say they're going to do 10 national monuments. $360,000,000 for these photos!!!!!

Obama, here's a tip....I've got a 15 year old nephew...and if you buy him a copy of "PhotoShop"....he can get you all these photos....for about a $100!!!!

Torture is a bad thing......mmmmmkay!

The Obama-ites are now going crazy about the alleged torture techniques used by the CIA in the war against terror. They want investigations, they want charges brought, and they want people jailed.

Well hold on just a second.

The current head of the CIA (Leon Panetta), who by the way had NO intelligence experience, and was no where near qualified to run the worlds most complex agency....but I digress....Leon, used to be the Chief of Staff for Bill Clinton. And under the Clinton's, Panetta oversaw the program of known as "Rendition". Rendition, children, was a Clinton program where the USA would capture suspected terrorists, and turn them over to other countries to be questioned. Why? Well, these countries had more "persuasive" methods of questioning....like water-boarding...and would then provide that intel back to the USA. So, torture is bad if the Republican President is overseeing it, but if the Democratic President is contracting his torture out to other countries....that's ok?!?!?!?

And what about our Sec of State...Hillary...she claims she was deeply invovled in her husband's administration......so what did she know about our out-sourcing of torture?

On a side note....so far in the past 3-4 weeks......Obama has apologized for the US at least 3 times, told the world we are arrogant and wrong...and has become hugging buddies with both the Castro brothers and Hugo Chavez, known socialists.

Does anyone really still wonder what this guys agenda is?

AND....keep your eye on the rules he's about to place on the credit card industry...you know, the banks we just bailed out...well he's going to make it more attractive to them to make credit cards available to higher risk customers, so those customers will then spend money they don't have on things they don't need to "stimulate" the economy.

Sound familiar...it should....Clinton did the same thing to the mortgage banking industry...which resulted in the now infamous "sub-prime" loans...and the melt down of the housing market.

So the top Democrats answer to get our selfs out of the current financial crisis is to encourage those that don't have credit worthiness, to take out more credit they can't afford, and then sit and wait for the credit card bubble to burst!

I've decided to start posting again, after several of my faithful readers have harassed me.

So where to begin? Something political???

Well, we could talk about Obama spending over $12 trillion dollars in his first 90 days. How much is 12 trillion, well to give you and idea....12 trillion seconds ago.....dinosaurs still walked the earth....12 trillion seconds equates to over 380,000 YEARS!

Or...we could talk about his diplomatic skills. During his first to meetings with foreign head's of state, Obama did the typical gift exchange. And what did he bestow on the dignitaires? A DVD collection of America's best movies, two replica models of Marine 1 Helicopter, and an iPod player (for the Queen of England) pre-loaded with all HIS speeches. Here's a tip. If youre the President of the United States, don't buy your freakin' gifts at BEST BUY....

Hey, how about his campaign pledge to get us out of the wars...but he's commited more troops to both Afghanistan and Iraq.

I could list all the appointees he's made that have had to walk away because of tax problems, but no one cares....and I don't have that much disk space.

Nah, I'll go with this....

In just under 12 hours, the City of Memphis was hit with over $100m in expenses it didn't think it was going to have to pay.

A Federal Judge ordered them to upgrade the Liberty Bowl to meet ADA specs, and a cost of $30m, and this must be done in the next 18 months.

Another judge, sided with the School Board, and ordered Memphis to pay the $57m it had with-held from the system.

The City Council ok'd paying out some $5m in employee buy-outs and early retirements.

So hang on to your property taxes, cause you know they're going up!!!!

And you folks in G'town and the county, don't think it wont be hitting you either, the county will end up on the hook for some of the Liberty Bowl.

By the way, we down here in DeSoto County will enjoy hosting the MidSouth Fair this year, on it's way to Tunica. That $40m for the Liberty Bowl may have been the final death-blow to the entire area there in Midtown.

Someone called me today, and said they were suprised that I hadn't commented after Obama's speech last night.

Quite frankly, I didn't watch, and could really careless anymore.

The man is a complete liar, he's doing nothing but bankrupting this country, and taking into a European Socialist system.

How many of his appointees were tax dodgers?

How many dropped out under public scrutiny?

Did you know Tom Dashle wrote a book last year, and in it, he said the way to get Nationalized Healthcare pushed through was to insert it into a budget amendment. Well guess what...that's just what they did. The vote today will now FORCE your doctor to record all YOUR medical files on a a federal database, which will then be used to develop public policy for nationalized healthcare.

You all voted for him.....now suck it up and take what's coming.

CONGRATS to Jo Chetter, who came back from being short-stacked, to win the main game, with Keith coming in 2nd, and myself coming in 3rd.

In the following two $20 games, Keith managed to win BOTH of those, so we are looking forward to his return next time to get a shot at getting our money back.

We had 5 new players this time, so our little poker circle is growing, which will hopefully translate to bigger pots down the road.

After only TWO days in office, here are my early observations about Prez BHO:

In BOTH of his press confs today, he had to check with someone off camera to see if he had said everything he was supposed to, and in fact, had not.
His new head of the Treasury, despite being an income tax scoflaw, has the distinction of being one of the architects of the recent bank bailout, that donated $350b to the banks, and did nothing to track it or make sure it was going to help the economy.
He has announced we will close GITMO, doesn't know where the prisonors are going to go, how they will be handled, who's going to do it.....but we'll close the prison

So last night we celebrated my friend Sam's birthday. At her request, we got a table at The Crossing, and commenced to partying. The band (Tom, Dick & Harry) were good, although they're no Aquanet.

The first round of shots showed up around 9pm (yup, that was me), and the dancing started shortly after.

Afterwards, Sam, Pam and I came home were I fixed chili tots and pizza, which was quickly consumed, followed by naps for everyone. BTW, when you ask Pam if she turned the oven off, don't take her word for it.....you'll see the pic below.

If the bar tab was any indication, a good time was had by all.....Sam's Bday tab beat New Year's Eve by $50!

Bad Year For Global Warming......

A recent article by an environmental group in Hawaii said, "2008 was a bad year for global warmers".....why, well these facts, that you probably wont here on the mainstream media, will give you an idea why....

In the last 10 years, there has been NO increase in the global avg temp
In the past 6 years, the average global temp has actually COOLED
Current global "sea ice" levels are at their highest in 29 years.
Sea Ice grew at a faster rate in 2008 than at any other time in recorded history

Now, I think we need to clean-up, and find alternative fuel sources, but let's get off the "sky is falling" nonsense, and get on with a reasonable debate.

Another New Year's Even, come and gone

I really do enjoy New Year's Eve. This year, Pam and I had dinner, just the two of us, at our favorite steak house, and the food was incredible, even better than usual.

Then it was off to The Crossing for partying with our pals. There were 7 of us in our main group, but the bar was packed!

No real stories to tell, except David should NOT do Jaeger at the pre-party next year.

Everyone came back to our house after, and we all changed into PJs (sorry, no pics) and ate...

Am I missing anything? Pretty much, if it sat still long enough, we ate it. Watched old episodes of Two and a Half Men, and a few of us slept. I think everyone finally left around 4am, except David, who spent the night.

I don't really get into the holiday season until it is drawing very close, but one of the events that kind of signals the season for me is the Gonzales' Christmas party, and this year was no exception. We had a blast...again....until well after 3am. I would say the dance hall was the best part, except that this year Dirty Santa was particularly fun. Our friend Sam was playing for the first time, and drew #2....poor kid had no idea what she was in for....she picked a gift, had it stolen, picked another, had it stolen, pic...well you get the idea....(4) gifts, and she ended up with a cork-screw set...not to worry, Pam stole pack the shot luge game, so we'll have that at the pool this year. I made off with a nice bottle of wine, Danny got the leg lamp from "A Christmas Story, which is perfect, and I can't remember what Deana ended up with.

The next holiday event for us is the TSO concert, then I will really be in a Christmas mood.

Well another semester has ended, and after getting serious at the end of the semester, I pulled an 87 for the course, or a B+....however, since college doesn't do "B+"...I got a B.

What irks me is that I only missed an "A" by 2.5 pts....and when you consider my instructor was late 5 out of 13 weeks posting assignments, and I was the ONLY student that turned in my term paper (which I got a 100 on) on time, you would think they guy could round up, and give me an "A"......but nope, "that's not how he works".....well turn about is fair play, I just received my class survey where I get to grade him on his handling of the on-line course.....now I just have to decide how badly I want to burn this bridge, since he is the head of the Criminal Justice department at the Senatobia campus, and I just might end up taking another course from him.....

Obama spokes-people are now admitting that George Bush inherited a Clinton recession in 2001....why? Because they want to make sure that they can compare Obama's handling of this recesstion to that one. Just as Nancy Pelosi promised the most ethical, hard working congress in decades, and them immedialty took days off to go to the sporting events, and didn't get a full work week in for the first 4 months, we now see how the promise of "Change" and "Hope" is going to evolve with Obama.

In regard to his promise to bring new blood to DC, he has tapped some 15 long-term Washington insiders to his cabinet, most served under Bill Clinton, and all have been old school DC for decades.

In regard to his promise to not be beholden to lobbyists...he has appointed a long-time insider, and most recently, Washington lobbyist to his cabinet.

In regard to being ethical and compassionite, he appointed a Chief of Staff who is notorious for being abusive and mean sprited, and appointed an Attorney General who oversaw teh largest amount of pardons to felons ever...including that of Mark Rich, the felon who's wife paid off Bill Clinton.

In the main event, 8 players battled, the winners...

2nd Place - Stacy Smith, how is now longer allowed to ask for help, you are officially a grown up poker player now.

In the second event, we had 9 players, and in the winner take all event, the winner was, that's right....ME!!!!

On side notes, we all noted that there were (2) Ricks (one without a K), (2) Mikes (both with girls named Cindy), (2) Cindy, or Cyndi, or Cyndysssss, and the Sam and Joe we had in attendance were both women.

We did devour most of Sam's chilli, which was actually better after a week or so of fermenting, and we did manager to go through about (3) cases of beer with only about 17 people there, so all in all a great night.

In side news, a few months back, my friend Steve Fowler started working with a new band, their gig was they would tour with national acts, and work with them regionally, kind of like "back-up band for hire"....they had their own tour bus, and would be living the whole "Almost Famous" life. He told me anytime I wanted to go on the road, just to let him know. Well I missed my chance, last night, while playing in Petrosky (sic), MI...his band was joined on stage by Bob Seger, who sat in for a 3 song set. Very cool. Next time he asks, I will have to take him up on his offer.

It's another poker night at our house tonight, and a chilli dinner too, oh and honeybaked ham...yeah, we're pretty much cleaning out the freezer. It sounds like we'll have about 16 playing tonight, and another 8 or so on lookers. Hopefully we can finish the rest of Sam's (awesome) chilli, and give her back her crock pot.

We have most of the regulars, and some new blood too....hopefully they will fall peacefully and quietly.

This year, our annual trek took us to Hot Springs, AR. I know, some of you might think (?) the spa capital of the world?!?! Well it's also a big party town, and a very good/old friend of ours lives there, and is some kind of big wig (as demonstrated by our ability to park ANYWHERE and get away with it).

You know we don't tell too many details, but a few highlights were....

I'm sure some of my faithful readers have been waiting for my comments about the most recent election out come. Truthfully, I had resigned myself to this outcome, and while I was holding out a bit of hope, I was pretty sure this was the way it was going.

I know this will be the worst Presidency since Jimmy Carter, and after listening to talk radio today, I now why.

A local talk-show host asked any Obama supporter to call in so he could congratulate them, and ask what it is they are most looking foward too. Some of the jewels of wisdome expressed...

Capital Gains Tax should be lowered...and when the host pointed out that Obama wants to raise that tax...the caller explained that he disagreed with Obama on this point...the tax should be lowered so the war would end....you see in his mind...Capital Gains is the money we spend on the war effort....no Capital Gains...no war.
Once caller said he had no problem with off-shore drilling in Iraq, Turkey, Syria...and thought we should off-shore drill there before we do here....of course none of those countries have a shore to drill off of.
On caller, said she was "excited" about 20 times, but couldn't say what she was excited about. When asked about Obama raising Capital Gains tax, she said "good, they should be raised"....then when asked if she could explain what Capitla Gains Tax was...she hung up.

These are the people that elected this chump. And here's the said part, they will re-elect him in 4 years if he takes all my money and gives it to them, so hang on, it's gonna be along ride.

I wish I could be one of those "get out and vote....doesn't matter who you vote for, just so long as you vote"....but I'm not.

If you're voting for McCain, much like me, I'm sure you would have liked a stronger candidate to vote for, and you probably considered not voting, or voting for a third party candidate. But as this campaign has progressed, and the mask of Obama has been peeled back, you now realize this is a fight for the preservation of America, and any vote not for McCain, is a vote to convert America to a European style Socialist society.

If you're voting for a third party, why not just come by my house and let me kick you in the nuts, then you go home...cause that's about how useful your vote is. Yeah, yeah...I've heard all the noise about "nothing will change if we don't start voting away from the Reps and Dems"...and while I agree to a point....this isn't the election to be making that stand. The damage an Obama presidency will do to this country will make Jimmy Carter look like Ronald Reagan. Pick another time to make your point, but this year, make your vote count AGAINST Obama.

And if you're voting for Obama.....all I can say is why? No experience. No ideas (repeating the word "change" is not a platform). He wants to take from those that have worked hard, and give our money to those who already feed off the government teet. How do you tax me more, and then give it to someone who doesn't pay any taxes? How do you socialize medicine when we've seen how effective it is in Canada and England....if it's so good, why do so many people from those countries come here. He aligns himself with a racist preacher, a convicted felon, a terrorist, a socialist, a PLO spokesperson.....he has lied repeatedly (if you make over $250k, no $200k, no $150k, no $42k....).

"I don't want to punish your success, but I want to spread the wealth, so those behind you have a fair chance".....WELL HOW ABOUT IF THOSE BEHIND ME WORK AS HARD AS I DO!!!!

Truly folks, if Obama wins, is gonna be a long two-years before we can vote out the Dem congress to limit the damage he can do. A very long two years.

Weekend Update...

What a great weekend. Woke up early Saturday, and the wife and I went to have breakfast together about 7am. Then she went off to work, and I spent the day moving the rest of my office, so I'm now 100% back up and running, and out of the spare bedroom.

Sunday we had about 20 folks for for chili and football. When we made the plans, we had no idea we'd having a 77 degree day in early November, but what the hell.

Pam, Sam and Jimmy made the chilli (and alot of it)....we had said we'd do a judging, but we never really did that. I will say I had one bowl of each, and went back for seconds of one....but I'll never tell whos.

We introduced the kids to a new form of gambling, and the grid-board winners were...

On another note, congrats to my wife Pam, who it seems will be the new VP/General Manager for her company. I guess I will see her around March now! She did get a good start...she was in at 6:30am...not that she planned that....I just forgot to reset her alarm clock after the time change.

Today, it's off to the dentist to re-set a crown that got knocked off during my wisdom tooth pull...yeah, the fun never ends.

Those of you that have none me while, and have heard my (and John's) stories from High School, will know that were not the most motivated students growing up. Our last 6-week reporting period were were officially abscent 28 of 30 days (never went to homeroom), and if not for a successful play on the sympathy of our English teacher, we were probably going to have to go to summer school.

So it is with that in mind that I received a letter from Phi Theta Kappa, the two year college version of Phi Beta Kappa. Yeah, that's right, the "international honor society"......and guess what.....they've invited me to join!!!! As most of you know, I've been going to college on line for about two years now, and currently have a 3.8 GPA, which qualifies for me this! What a hoot! And I decided to go ahead an join...what the heck!

My old classmates will be turning over in their graves.

As some of you know, I had oral surgery Friday to remove two wisdome teeth, and a troublesome molar. I've actually had a tooth removed before by the same doctor, and had ZERO trouble, so I wasn't nervous at all....that might have been my downfall.

First, as usual, because of my size, they don't like to put me as "deep" under as most patients for fear of losing my airway. The same thing last time, no big deal.

Things seemed different right from the start when they began doing all kinds of things that I don't remember them doing last time. When I asked, they told me that Vericet (sic) has a reverse memory loss affect, and I wont remember any of this either...guess what...I do.

Then there was about 15 minutes of trying to get an IV started, and again, I've been stuck so many times, this doesn't bother me. Finally a vein, and shot...and I drifted off thinking "cool, when I wake up, this will all be done".....NOT

The first wisdom took almost an hour to get out, and they had just started working on the molar when I woke up and said "hi"! They gave me a little (they said) more pain stuff, but nothing to put me to sleep, and when they started on the molar again, I had to protest, as I could feel everything. The doc explained he couldn't give me any more seditive, and they could either try to numb me up more, or stop and come back. He said he had already begun to excise the molar, and didn't think it would take much more. So I told him to load me up, and let's go. No one heard him tell them to put me back on the Nitros gas, so I didn't even have that. Short story, I had the molar pulled while I was awake, and basically had novacaine, and that' s it.

Now the really good news.....they aren't done. They never got to the second wisdom tooth, so I have to go back for that...AND they knocked off a crown, so I have to get that redone.

On the truly good news....Oxycodone is awesome stuff....and I've been vegging all weekend. Today will be all football, and then tomorrow back to the grind-stone.

The bid news this week is because of my awesome neighbors tiling my office for me while I was on vacation, and Pam being bored while i was wacked out on Oxy, and moving alot of my stuff...I should be back in my regular office digs by the end of the week!

The next weekend is the Cowboys party with Chilli Cookoff on Sunday...right now it's between Pam, Jimmy, and Sam....haven't decided how we will cast votes yet, but we'll figure it out.

Then the brother's trip, then poker night, then Thanksgiving...and damn if it isn't already December!!!!!

Maybe Gary's yard sign wasn't that hideous after all.

He said he did not "kick off" his campaign in Bill Ayers living room...well, I guess you could say that's true...he did officially announce in a coffee shop...then two days later let Bill Ayers host his first fundraiser in Ayers' living room.

He used to say he didn't think Ayers was relevant because this all happened "when I was 8 years old"...but now says it's not important becuase Ayers was "rehabilitated".....rehabilitated?

Admit it, in the past few days, you've been saying how glad you are that gas has dropped below $2.50 a gallon......and that means "they" are winning.....

The have brainwashed us to make us HAPPY to pay ONLY $2.50 a gallon.

Here's a question....when oil was $150 a barrel, gas was around $4.00 a gallon....now it's at $70....or 47% of it's high....shouldn't we then be paying 47% of $4.00 a gallon...or about $1.86 a gallon?!?!?!?!??!

What a great weekend so far......

Friday, my wife and I partied hard until 8pm...then we both did shots of Nyquil, and off to bed....I know, sounds lame, but if any of you have ever heard about my vacation, you have to know that between Ft. Lauderdale and the ADT sales Kick off, you know I'm coming off of a 12 day binge, and it was good to rest. Slept until about 0830, and was greatly productive today...got the pool closed, painted the new office, and felt really good about ourselves.

Then tonight we had a challenge, we planned an outing with our great neighbors Jimmy and Denise, but also had invites to meet Danny, Deana and Sam out for cocktails. We opted for dinner, then we'd go meet DD&S....but dinner was SSSOOOO good (Carrabas) that we were all stuffed, so we took the easy road, and went to our bar in Olive Branch for night caps. Only to find out the Danny/Deana/Sam crew were rocking hard in East Memphis....last I heard it was karaoke and buckets for everyone. Maybe I'm too old to hang with the big dogs.

Oh well, tomorrow we're off to Jackson to unload my van (at my asking price) then Monday Jimmy and I start working out....of course after work out, we're going to the bar to watch the last part of the Pats/Broncos game.

Yes, John McCain voted in 1994 to remove the regulatory oversite from the investment banking industry. That was before Pres. Clinton signed a law that allowed those investment banks to use our home mortgages as collateral for investment loans, and for those investment firms to buy them up wholesale from mortgage companies.
In 2004, John McCain is on record as saying that the mortgage industry is out of control, and needs to be audited and re-vamped.
In 2005, a vote before the finance committee would have returned oversite for the investment banking industry...all dems voted NO, and all Reps voted yes, the dems won, and there was no oversight put in place. At that time, Barney Franks stated "these businesses (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac) are solid and in no trouble"
Barny Frank, Chris Dodd, and Barak Obama have received more money from these companies than any other Senators....and they are the ones responsbile for congressional oversight of this industry.

You want to place blame....blame Clinton for allowing our mortages to be used as investment collateral...blame Franks and Dodd for doing nothing to regulate the industry...blame Obama for taking all their money AND for hiring two of the biggest thieves from those business..who now work for HIM!

In the last few days, and in the days to come, you're going to hear Reps and Dems try to blame this latest financial debacle on each other. Well guess what, they are not to blame.

You want to know who is to blame....take a look around your neighborhood. Anyone you know who took out a 3% adjustable rate mortgage to buy a house they couldn't afford otherwise, anyone who took out a 110% mortgage to buy a house they couldn't afford......anyone who who blindly signed loan papers and didn't understand what they were getting themselves into.

THOSE ARE THE BASTARDS THAT ARE TO BLAME!!!

Those people, and their ilk. The ones that since the 60s & 70s have decided they are "entitled" to something for nothing. That if they didn't have the brains needed to advance themselves, well then big business and big government should advance them at someone elses expense.

The same people that wanted a tax refund, when they never pay taxes anyway. The same people that want the govt to give them a free cable box so they can get digital TV next year. The same people that don't work, but wont the govt to guarantee them the best medical care available at no cost.

The end of this country is going to be brought about by the lazy, no good, useless class of people that feel the government, and those of us that earn a good living, owe them everything for free, just because they are hear.

And the end will be facilitated by the liberal/socialist democrats like Obama who think it is the governments job to redistribute my wealth to those that produce nothing.

By the way, one number says that this will end up costing each taxpayer $8500 over 5 years. That doesn't sound that bad, but remember.....not all taxpayers pay taxes, a large amount pay nothing, and an even larger amount make nothing, but get "earned income credit" so they still get a refund. So in the end, the bill will be the burden of the working/educated minority, which is getting pretty freakin' tired of footing the bill!

So you've all heard how we, the US taxpayers, will now have to foot the bill to bail out Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and now Lehman Brothers.

One might ask, where were the people running these companies, how much did they make, and where are they now???

Well Jim Johnson was head of Fannie Mae for several years, and also head of Lehman Brothers. All total, he bailed out with about $40m in bonuses.

Harry Raines also worked as the head of Fannie Mae, after heading the Office of Budget Management for Bill Clinton. In his six years, he scored just over $90m in pay.

A Federal Investigation found that both men benefited from improper bookkeeping, designed to artificially inflate the value of these companies, and consequently their own pay. Now when this happened to Enron (friends of the Reps) it was all over the news, and people went to jail. However, in this case, these two leading Democrats have had no action taken against them, and the media isn't talking about it.

Where are they now????????????????

He'll still be around to comment, but the circus he ran during the DNC and RNC was just enough to push NBC over the top, and they announced he's being replaced as anchor for the upcoming debates.

Now, I wasn't shocked to learn that Fox News beat the crap out of MSNBC in it's coverage of the Republican convention, but I was shocked (and happy) to learn Fox also beat MSNBC in the ratings for the Dem convention!

First, let me say I'm tired of everything being attached with "-gate", it's old, let's move on.

Okay, you're all hearing about the allegations about Palin, in short, she is under investigation for allegedly abusing her authority, by firing the head of the State Troopers, because he in turn, would not fire Palin's ex-brother in law, who was a trooper. Sounds pretty bad huh? Well here are some facts that you ARE NOT hearing in the news.....

The man fired, has said on record, that he was never told or ordered to fire the trooper in question. He has said that several other people, not Palin, made him feel as if he was on the hot-seat for not firing him.
A Palin aide, made a comment that was recorded, in which he said "the gov and her husband can't believe this man still represents the State Troopers" talking about the brother-in-law....he was suspended.
The ethics investigation was NOT called for by the man fired...it was called for by the State Director of Ethics....who is.......wait for it...wait for it....a DemocRAT
Palin has asked for her own investigation, to be expedited...because the DemocRAT doing his investigation has announced he wont release any findings until the week before the election.

Why did Palin have a problem with the brother-in-law;

In front of a crowd, he threatened Palin's father, saying he'd make him "eat a bullet"
He verbally attacked Palin's daughter (his niece) at a high school football game, in front of dozens of witnesses.
He TAZED HIS OWN 10 YEAR OLD STEP-SON!!!!!!

I always thought when we bought a new house, that would give me a good 5 - 10 years of no major projects. But alas, that is not the case.

As most of you know, I work out of my house, a while back, the "floating" shelves that I had put up came crashing down. Well I was just going to get some larger anchors, and re-hang them....but being married, it's not that simple.

See, since we need to patch the walls, we should just go ahead and paint, and if we're gonna paint, we'll have to move the furniture, and if we're moving the furniture, why not move it out, and then put down that time floor she's been wanting.

This is all well and good, but that means I need some place else to work, hence the title of this blog. I'm moving my computers, etc into the spare bedroom, and setting up shop on a couple of spare folding tables.

Then we can begin dismantling, patching, painting, tiling, et al. I'm sure when it's all done, I'll be happy, and most likely take credit for most of the work, but right now it's a pain.

I read today that Obama insiders say Joe Biden is the leading candidate for the VP slot......gawd I hope so.

Here's just a few choice points about Joe Biden:

While campaigning in New Hampshire, he told a reporter that he graduated in the top half of his law class, while attending on a full academic scholarship. Truth: He graduated 76th out of about 85, and was only on a partial scholarship....in fact he was barely a C student
He told a crowd and the media that immigrants from India were doing very well in this country..as proof he said you can't walk into a 7-11 without seeing one behind the counter
He has plagarized Neil Kinnock and Bobby Kennedy when he was running for office
He was given an F on a course in Law School when they determined he had plagarized a paper
He refered to Obama as a good candidate because "he was clean and good looking"
And I'm trying to find documentation, but I think suffered a nervous breakdown some years ago.

It actually makes sense...Biden on the ticket might make Obama look better.

Between NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, and the extra 5 channels DirectTV has dedicated to the Olympics, i've been inclined to occasionally take a trip over to one of those channels to see what's happening. Now the big channels are reserved for the big sports, swimming, gymnastics, etal. But there's some pretty exciting stuff on those "off" channels. The other day, about 2pm (my time), I caught an increadible match of one-on-one badminton. The pride of Estonia was giving the German champ all he could handle. The commentator (that's right, even for badminton...there's a Howard Cossell) pointed it out several times by noting how the german was having to "wipe the sweat off his brow"!

Come on...can't we do better than badminton? I couldn't figure out which was the saddest aspect of this event.....

That these guys, who god love 'em were giving this "sport" their all, were relagated to playing at 2am china time
The the country of Estonia, population about the same as Metro Nashville, even bothered to ask it's people..."hey, anyone here play badminton"....and someone said yes
That the TWO commentators assigned made no real effort to comment on the game other to make stupid, obvious observations, and fake excitment with lines like "whew...he almost missed that speeding shuttlecock"

I'm still waiting for Rock/Paper/Scissors to be come a formal event....then I can dream of representing my country...in a beer stained shirt with a chicken wing in the other hand!

In the latest round of proving he's not ready for office Barack has said all of the following:

In July, he stated without hesitation, that he was against off-shore drilling and would not support it. Now he says he supports off shore drilling, on both coasts, as a short term fix for the oil shortage.

He said he did NOT support tapping the US Strategic reserve to try to lower oil costs, but now says we should sell off 70m barrells of that reserve, and then try to buy it back later when the prices fall.

He chided McCain for supporting the Cheney Energy Policy....a policy which he himself voted for in 2005 and 2006.

The more he talks and campaigns, the further he falls. As of yesterday, the first official poll came out putting McCain in the lead...which once you add in the fudge factor (people telling pollsters they will vote for Obama but wont) he's now down 10 pts in the polls.

I'm still waiting for an answer from one of my liberal readers......how is ANYONE supporting this tool!!!

Last night on Fox News, the chickie filling in for Alan Combs (the liberal) asked Carl Rove why the Reps keep trying to infer that Obama's decision NOT to visit the injured soldiers was a political move when it wasn't. Rove replied by saying he was only going by what Obama himself said on 26-July. The lib said that was the wrong interpretation. Rove then receited the exact quote, to with the Lib said he was taking it out of context....Sean Hannity then rolled the video of the statement, to which she replied she "took a different meaning".....Obama's explanation...the second one offered, was that he learned on of his senior campaign workers, who was retired military, would not be allowed on the tour, and we could only take one Senate staffer, I then decided it would be to political"...puh-lease! If you wanted to show respect to the soldiers, leave the campaign staffer, the senate staffer, and all the media on the plane, and go say thank you to the injured soldiers. There is NO reason that he shouldn't have done this other than it didn't serve his purpose without being photographed.

In the most recent "spin" by the Obama campaign, an aide now says the reason Obama blew off the injured soldiers in Germany was because he didn't want to politize them or their injuries. Of course, that concern didn't come up until he was told his campaign aide (and retired Lt. Col) couldn't come along with him on the tour, nor could the dozens of press corp along with him.

If this is true, then why wasn't Obama concerned when he visited the injured soldiers at Johns Hopkins, or in Afghanistan?!?!?!

So what did we learn from Obama's trip?

He doesn't want the American flag on his plane
He wont visit serivcemen unless he can be photographed doing so
Despite being told that the conditions in Iraq should dictate the withdrawl, he pulled a 16 month timeline out of his ass....a timeline he already had before he met with the Army brass.
And the French love him......that's enough of a reason to dump him anyway!

Truly I was shocked he flew to the middle east....I just figured with all the hype he'd just walk across water to get there.

During the Messiah Tour '08, Obama had scheduled a visit to a military hospital in Germany where wounded soldiers are treated and cared for.

Keep in mind now, all the times we've heard this is NOT a political photo-op tour.

Well, a couple of days before arriving, Obama was told the the Dept Of Defense, that policy would only allow him (Obama) and one staff memeber (not campaign worker) to tour the hospital. They want to minimize the disturbance to the injured soldiers.

When Obama realized this meant the dozens of reporters traveling with him would not able to snap photos of him with the hero soldiers, he canceled the entire visit!!!!!

Translated - Mr. Soldier, who gave so much of yourself to our country....you're only worth visiting if I can be pictures I can use during my campaign....if I can't get those pix....you're not worth seeing.

I'm up working in DC this week, and one of the Engineers commented that he got an email from a rep in Charleston, SC....which included the word "y'all".....he couldn't believe the guy used the word in a business email.

I had to educate him that in the South...this is a perfectly acceptable term...when he questioned me, I offered the following as proof....

When using Word or Outlook, if you spell y'all correctly....it will pass spell-check
According to the Meriam Webster Website, this is a valid word, defined as a deviation on the term "you all" http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/y
And on the same website, they offer a .wav file so you know how to properly pronounce the word.

My fingers are going to get tired of typing the bullshit this guy pours out.....so here's the short version of the latest...

1. Said he will accept Public Funding if the Republican Nominee does, so when McCain does accept it, Obama changes his mind, and now will go for the more lucrative private funding. Why? He says the public funding system is broken....well it's the exact same system as it was when you lied and made your promise BHO!

2. I will debate John McCain anywhere, anytime, and in any format! But now, not in a town hall meeting, not with questions from the public, and apparently not on any day that ends in "Y"!

FDR (Democrat) - Created Social Security, however to his credit, his original contract with America promised....

That participation in the Program would be Completely voluntary

That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program

That the money the participants elected to put Into the Program would be deductible from Their income for tax purposes each year

That the money the participants put into the Independent 'Trust Fund' rather than into the General operating fund, and therefore, would Only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program

That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income.

So what happened????

1963 - Lyndon Johnson (D) and the Dem controlled house and senate moved the funds out of the trust fund, into the general fund, so congress could direct the usage of those funds.

1970s - Jimmy Carter (D) and the Dem controlled congress voted to start giving payements to illegal immigrants that never paid into the system.

1990s - Bill Clinton (D) and the Demcratic House, and Republican Senate, voted to start taxing 85% of the social security payments being received. Though the Senate was republican, the initial vote ended up in a tie. The tie breaking vote came from Al Gore (D), allowing it to be sent to Bill for signing.

So after inventing it in the 30s, spending it starting the 60s, giving it away in the 70s, and taxing it in the 90s....now the Dems want you to belive it is the Republicans that are killing Social Security.

Yeah, it was another land-mark evening of poker at the house. The players totalled about 12, and the on lookers made up another 5 or 6.

There was great discussion between my wife and I before hand that it didn't look like I had enough food.....

Well, I must apologize to my wife.....it was ALL GONE!!!!!!!! First the bud light, then the miller lite, and by the end of the night, I was forced to sit pool side sipping on a Coor's Light....ugh!

Of course, 20 folks eating and drinking for the better part of (5) hours, that's gonna happen.

Sidenote....My total winnings, minus buy-ins, minus splitting my winnings with my wife, minus the cost of food (because Pam get's the 10% to the house, and I paid for the food) I think I'm down about $75....sounds about right.

Onward....I don't want to call these "low-lights"....but let's just refer to them as "the things that made us go....hhmmmmm"

Brother Dan had his wisdom tooth extracted late on Friday...he was told to start back on clear liquids, then heavy liquids, and so on. Apparently in Danny's world, Miller Lite is a "heavy" liquid.
From now on, when Jen can't find her money...check her boobs. It was funny when she lost her $10 the first time....but later on...when she lost her winnings from the 2nd game...and yeah they were in the same place....I'm thinking "mad cow disease"
John...I don't care what you say, but a palm tree shirt, plaid shorts, and loafers (no socks) is not the "hip look" all the kids are wearing. I swear he looked like one of those guys selling Maps to the Stars in Hollywood.
Jen & Gary, I have (3) bathrooms in my house, pick one. And if you're going to co-habitat in one, don't pick the one with 10 people waiting just outside in the kitchen.
Stacie, if you're gonna get weird about Gary and Jen in a bathroom together....you're in for a long bumpy ride.

How does Keith Olbermann even pretend to be a journalist? He only invites guests that agree with his twisted views, he never brings on anyone from the Republican side of the house, never attempts to present "two sides" or a "balanced" view. He is so clearly in the bag for Obama, he went after other libs like Katie Couric for saying that Hillary wasn't getting a fair shake.

When left wing liberal websites decree that Fox News provided the MOST balanced coverage of the primaries, Olbermann should be really worried.

Well now he's all in a twit because Fox referred to Michelle Obama as "Obama's baby's Mama".....well isn't she?

He can call Bush a terrorist and a liar, call McCain old and senial, and do the Nazi salute on national TV wearing a O'Reilly mask....but you better not make any sideways comments about Obama.

He is so in the bag, he just needs to marry the Obama-Girl, and start his own little fan club.

I also think it's funny that, even during a week of O'Reilly re-runs, Olbermann only pulled about half as many people. But he was all excited when the ratings came out and showed he beat CNBC in that timeslot.....we're number 5! we're number 5!

Every other day I hear another story about Barak, and I just shake my head as to how ANYONE can support this guy.

First was his wing nut minister, who he said that although he had been going to that church for 20+ years, Barak never heard the man say an ugly word....then when the heat got turned up....he quit the church (it should be noted that Oprah quit the same church 7 years earlier because she apparently could hear the racist remarks being made by the preacher)

Then the replacement minister...who was a racist of his own, but Barak didn't now he was a flake either.

Then his association with the US terrorist Myers....but Barak didn't really know him that well...although he did attend fundraisers at Myers house.

Then there's the fella Rezko, who over the course of a few years donated money and land to Obama in the amount of about $400k....Obama first said he didn't really know him either, that he just asked his opinion on a land deal...but when the heat got turned up, he admitted the land deal was a mistake, and then donated the money he got from Rezko to charity.

Now we have Jim Johnson. Obama railed about Countrywide Mortgage as being one of the major causes of the housing credit crash, and called out the CEO by name like he was a criminal. However, he didn't have any trouble hiring Johnson, who had received multiple sweetheart deals from the same CEO. Again, at first Obama said he Johnson didn't work for him, but now...with the heat on...Johnson has "resigned"....well if he didn't work for Obama...what is he resigning from?

We also have all the little tidbits from his book....how he stopped telling folks his mom was white, how he was afraid people would think him too white....how he used dope and cocaine, but didn't use heroine...why???...because he didn't like the dealer....not because it was illegal or immoral or anything.

He also keeps claiming that he didn't vote for the war in Iraq like McCain...well no you didn't, because at the time you were a State Senator, and wouldn't have any reason to vote on a federal issue, nor did you have access to the intel available at the time.

When you compare what little substance he has advanced on his policies...they are straight out of the socialist 60s...a decade we don't want to repeat, and policies that failed then.

In the end, Obama is a big fat zero of a leader, a liar who bails on his friends when things get too hot, and offers nothing more than 50 year old policies.

If he were Prez...I wonder if he would cut and run when the heat got turned up on him there, just like he has done over and over again during the campaign.

Sloan Carafello was a normal guy. A normal guy who at 30 rode a bike everywhere he went. A normal guy who carried a spiral bound notebook that he would stop and write in, secretly, every 10 mintes. A normal guy who, regardless of how hot or cold it was, wore the same blue windbreaker every day for years. A normal guy who told his co-workers he was joining the Army or the CIA. A normal guy who often asked co-workers..."if you had to die, would you rather jump of a tall building, or jump out of an airplane without a parachute?" Well I guess we know what he decided.

Sloan showed up asking to ride along with group of jumpers, so he could take arial pictures for a class project. After the 3rd buy cleared the door, old Sloan jumped up, and followed 'em out....sans parachute. Albany police have reported that Sloan apparently continued to snap photos all the way down....right up until he hit the house.

Yeah, there was no way anyone could have seen that coming.
