Return "The First 48" to Memphis

In another bone-head play, the Memphis City Council has decided to not allow "The First 48" to return to Memphis Homicide to film any longer. Their reasoning is that the show portrayed the city in a bad light, and businesses weren't moving to Memphis because of this show. HELLO! Folks are getting murdered regardless of whether it's shown on TV or not!

This show didn't show the problem, it showed the cure. Memphis Homicide had one of the best case-solve rates in the country, and this was a good image for memphis.

I've started a petition to get the City's attention....I'd ask you please join me and sign.
