Al "Do as I say, not as I do" Gore
"Green" Gore
So Al Gore is the big global warming champion.....
Owns three houses, each of which averages $15k - $20k a year in electric bills. He says it's ok, because he invests in renewable power companies, to off-set his non-green usage. Translation...I can burn up as much energy as I want, because I have the money to buy a clear mind.
One of his house, in Carthage, TN, is rarely ever used. Why keep it? Well because he gets $20k a year from a mining company that is strip mining for zinc. This company has been repeatedly fined for environmental issues...but hey, they're giving big Al $20k, so why not take it.
And finally, his family trust (which he is the executor of) is one of the largest stock holders in a petro drilling company, often flagged by environmentalists for green violations.
