Just some quick sound bites.....

Things you WONT be hearing on the main stream media.....

  • It was reported today that during the 3Q, right when the "housing bubble burst"...the US gross domestic product rose nearly 5%...the largest increase in 4 years.
  • Bill Clinton now says that he has always opposed the war in Iraq....queue up the video of him telling CNN that he has always defended Pres Bush on the Iraq war. Oh yeah, and he also told Condi Rice's staff that he fully supported the invasion of Iraq.
  • 4k of enriched uranium were siezed by men who thought they were selling it to terrorists....nah, there's no world nuclear threat.
  • This year, the US economy grew at it's fastest rate in over 4 years......despite the chicken-little fatalists that say we're sinking into a recession.
  • Oil reached $100 per barrel....almost $40 of that is due to price speculation...investors...another $20 of that is due to the extra costs the oil companies pay to comply with 50 different state fuel requirements....the true cost is about $40 per barrel....which would translate to a current gallon of gas costing about $1.20
  • Mike Huckabee (I think) is the best candidate running for president....but no one will talk about him.
  • Ron Paul needs to go share a room with Ross Perot.
  • The Dem congress, as you know, has been pushing for the renewal of the "Fairness Doctrine" which would mandate the content of talk radio and talk TV. However, they now want to exclude PBS from that requirement, because PBS is "publically funded"....so the Dems want to tell private enterprise how to run their talk shows, but not tell the govt funded network......isn't that what Chavez has done in his country.
  • Speaking of Chavez.....do you realize in the last year, more big time celebs have visited Huga Chavez than have participated in USO shows for the troops overseas?
  • Nancy Pelosi is stalling a bill in Congress, and wont allow a vote. The bill would prevent illegal aliens from suing employers, who refuse to hire them because they can't speak english.
  • The SC supreme court just ordered the states public colleges to admit illegal aliens as students...even if they know that the students are in violation of federal immigration law.

France is SSSOOOOO much better than us...

Recently retired president Jaques Chirac has been indicted on charges that he gave away fake jobs to his friends in exchange for favors.

Bet you haven't heard that on the news yet!

Isn't this the same tool that lectured the USA about it's moral compass.....isn't this one of those liberal, pillow bitting, tree hugging, passive pansies that acted oh so holier than thou for his entire administration?

Where are all those liberal-ass americans that talked about how bad we look to Europe...where are they now...why aren't they out pointing fingers at Chriac..the same ones they use to point at Bush and Chaney?!?!?!!?

Can't Let Em Get You Down...

First, let me say what a great time I had on our annual brother's trip. Although New Orleans is much calmer (post-Katrina) we all had a good time, much laughing, drinking, and giving each other S**T...I truly am blessed to have my brothers.

But you know...you can't just have a good time without paying a price.

The night we got back, I started getting sick...those who have known me long know about my lef infection....well guess what kids...it's now in my other leg. Not as bad as the last hospital visit, but bad enough to miss work and go to the doctor.

So today, I went to the doctor, and they actually got me in early, and out in about 35 minutes...which means I probably missed the guys that broke into my truck by about 10 minutes. They got my GPS, My cell phone, my PDA, my debit card, left my bills though (thanks!) And within 20 minutes of that, had hit the Debit card about 4 times across town.

Now mind you, I'm not on the hook for the charges, and everything is insured...but just the hassell of getting a new phone, stopping payment, and getting my door lock fixed PISSES ME THE F*** OFF!!!!!

I tell people that I rarely go into Memphis if at all possible. I was across the state line for a grand total of 60 minutes, and it cost me about $1000 in damage

I, of course, turned in all the serial numbers, and reported everything to the bank and Memphis PD, but knowing what a crack crew the are....I'm sure the report will be filed away and forgotten.

Oh well, I'm off to take my antibiotic pills, and get up early to go to the bank to close my checking account.

I just don't think I should ever cross the state line again.
